About
Cambridge Vineyard Men's Ministry

Ministry Team Vision
Actively and purposefully empowering the men to realize their calling in Jesus and to pursue that calling.

Everything is up for discussion and under the authority of Jesus the Christ, the risen son of God the Father.

Modus Operandi
Four step procedure:

1. Invite men to join the Men's Ministry Team.

2. Disciple Ministry Team members by working together to:

  • Learn how to hear Jesus.
  • Learn how to discern where and how He is inviting us to join Him in His Father's work.
  • Practice obedience to His call.

3. Every member of the Team supports and encourages each other in their journey. Whatever that may entail, such as: going out for coffee, running events, going on mission trips, etc.

4. Individual members of the ministry team reach out to other men (within the church and outside the church) to: make them feel welcome, actively and purposefully empowering those men to realize their calling in Jesus, and to help them pursue that calling.

Repeat from step 1.

Structure
Structured monthly meetings with agenda:
1. Social time
2. Opening prayer (everyone prays, everyone learns to pray out loud)
3. Old Business
4. New Business
5. Disciple ship time: teaching, discussion, practice, etc.
6. Closing prayer (everyone prays, everyone learns to pray out loud)

Events
The activities of the Men's Ministry will be in reaction to individual member's calling - as we are lead by Jesus. We will continue having yearly retreats, but the format of these will be at the Lord's discretion, or as close to that as we are able to discern.

Membership
Requirements for team membership:
- Be accountable as outlined in 1 Timothy 3, or at least be working toward this!
- Team Members should be visible within the church
- Team Members will seek out men at the church and purposefully get acquainted with every man at the church
- Team Members will be encouraged to seek opportunities to share Christ's good news with men outside the church
